The Green Solution - Lead Operations Associate - Trinidad

Summary
The Lead Operations Associate is responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring Marijuana Enforcement Division compliance through the maintenance of cultivation security and accuracy of inventory kept within the cultivation facility. Additionally, the Lead Operations Associate is responsible for performing transport manifest verification, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with METRC reports, as well as verifying invoice accuracy for all incoming and outgoing shipments of state-regulated products. The Lead Operations Associate must secure products prior to transport and achieve loss prevention by monitoring facility access and ensuring compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Understand the complexity of compliance requirements governing the businesses, including the following regulatory agencies: Marijuana Enforcement Division, Fire Department, City Zoning and Planning, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and more
Physically organize facility inventory
Receive incoming inventory and verify accuracy of batch, weight and name; perform an initial quality assurance check upon receipt
Package and label bulk products for all outgoing shipments and vendor orders, while verifying accuracy of physical count/weight and all other order details
Create and/or verify accuracy of METRC manifest and invoice for all shipments
Control and release inventory to transport staff for distribution to retail locations or wholesale clients
Maintain accurate METRC inventory by monitoring RFID tracking throughout the development and distribution process
Select samples and/or coordinate with MED-approved sampler in regard to potency and contaminant testing; maintain product during holding period
Ensure security and integrity of the facility; abstain from unauthorized access
Check METRC daily for released inventory while adhering to strict compliance regulations
Coordinate with Managers and manufacturing staff to maintain production needs
Maintain par levels of raw product vault inventory by reporting low levels to Managers and cultivation staff
Coordinate with the Compliance team, Managers and Leads to correct quality assurance/compliance concerns
Package and label bulk products with package tag/batch #, strain name, weight, ingredients and potency test results to fill distribution orders
Report inventory totals to management to determine distribution needs for each retail location
Stage outgoing orders in distribution cage for pick-up
Differentiate manifest type for each outgoing shipment, including transfer, wholesale, and/or infused transfer
Adapt to a variety of working environments, including offices, manufacturing and cultivation facilities with ability to professionally interface with a range of employees and the public
Responsible for reading and understanding all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation
All other job duties as assigned
Qualifications Education
High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
Associate or Bachelors degree in any field required
Training
Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
Must have 1+ years of METRC training or experience
Required Skills & Experience
Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
2+ years of METRC training or experience

Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time

Work Requirements
Must be able to work in a cultivation environment with moderate to loud noise level
Must be able to work in cultivation, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions. May require use of safety equipment or personal protective equipment, as needed
Must be able to acquire MED KEY badge ($300 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
