Surveillance Technician Part Time (Southern Colorado)

Summary
The Surveillance Technician performs skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of access control, closed circuit television (CCTV) and security systems hardware and software. The Surveillance Technician also evaluates present systems and recommending system expansion, modification, and replacement. This position operates during normal business operating hours and on an on-call basis after normal working hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Apply concepts of basic electricity, basic electronics component theory, surveillance systems, alarm system operations, network storage, and systems to facility operational needs
Install, maintain repair and provide recommendations of surveillance equipment
High level understanding of analog and IP based surveillance systems
Experience with Network Attached Storage systems
Troubleshoot surveillance related network problems
Maintain strict confidentiality in regard to surveillance equipment and other surveillance operations, controls and procedures
Responsible for maintaining surveillance cameras, monitors, and equipment
Work with project managers to resolve all discrepancies, and coordination problems that impair installation acidities.
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Install, moving and cleaning all company Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) equipments sound and video systems.
Installation of new equipment and wires
Remove & replace CCTV equipment as needed
Perform work duties on-call and after normal working hours, as necessary
All other tasks and job duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate or Bachelors degree in any field preferred
Training
Must maintain current knowledge of and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
Required Skills & Experience
IT experience required 5 years sureveillance systems knowledge
3 years Synology experience
1-year Hikvision experience
Understand the complexity of compliance requirements governing our businesses, including the following types of regulatory agencies: Marijuana Enforcement Division, Fire Department, City Zoning and Planning, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and more
Experience using Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with current versions
Work with limited supervision and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Adapt to a variety of working environments, including offices, with ability to gather information from a range of employees
Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
High-level attention to detail
Preferred Skills & Experience
Ability to task prioritize with shifting workload in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements;
Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities Cannabis industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements
Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time

Must be able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level Must be able to acquire MED Key badge ($300 Fee to State of CO) prior to beginning employment
Travel Requirements

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
